ABC TOW is commited to the fight against Preditory Towing.  Our goal is to protect you, the customer, from companies that take advantage of you at a time when you are very vulnerable.    After an accident often the last thing you think of is that someone you think is there to help will take advantage of you.  Unfortunitly that is often the case.  When you allow a company to tow your vehicle they may charge many times more than a reputable company.  You might find yourself with a tow bill that is several hundred to even a thousand dollars more than you should have been charged.  The only way to be sure to avoid finding your self in this situation is to follow a couple simple rules listed here.  Through our combined efforts with the Missouri Tow Association, law enforcement and customer awareness we want you to feel secure knowing that the towing provider is a reputable professional and will take proper care of you and your vehicle.   

1)  ALWAYS tell the police officer who you want to tow your vehicle.
  Usually if you do not request a tow company they will give your car to a tow company of thier choice, who may still charge virtually any rates.

2) NEVER allow a tow truck that arrives before the police to tow your vehicle.
It is illegal for a tow company to solicit your business in this manner.  If you allow a "wreck chaser" to take your vehicle you will be over charged!  Reputable companies do not wreck chase!
